The fight between the low cloud and clearer conditions was very interesting while I was out this morning ; from 07.00-10.00 there were spells of warm sun and others where it was breezy and fresher. I could actually see the mist/low cloud forming and decaying as it moved SW-NE.

The sun then shone for over an hour and I thought it would be staying until the already increasing frontal cloud took over later, however the misty low cloud returned by midday and is dominant now.

Currently 15.4c but it had got up to 17.7c .

Well its a new month so I was hoping we might get some more interesting weather. But it appears I may be Yawwwwwwning for a long time yet....

Cloudy, misty morning but sunny this afternoon, must still be foggy in the channel as can hear lots of fog horns. Temperature is 16C after a minimum of 8C.

not too bad a day here.....cloudy & dull yet humid early doors and then brightened up to give partly cloudy skies with decent sun for most of the afternoon, temps reached 64F feeling quite sticky......might get a drop of rain tonight and then fresher tomorrow with cooler temps and scattered showers

Surprised it's quiet in here today given the rash of showers and perfect convective sky across Bristol, Bath, Wiltshire and Dorset. Hail in the first shower of the day to move over Warminster and that was by no means the core so some interesting conditions around.

This one looks like it might be a bit tastier. Most of the cows think it will be.

just got back from Worcester and as posted on my facebook page, it was snowing at Birdlip on the A417....Yep, decent, heavy snow, no hail, no grauple, just the good old 'white stuff' and at a freezing 3C.....at the end of April....mad, absolutely mad!

So, my Devonshire friends, how's it looking in Bideford? My daughter is spending the weekend with a 100 other children on an activity weekend and the kit list suggested a cagoule and sun cream! Have the teachers got it right...?!!

that will be the downside but just hope they are lighter winds and deffo won't be as cold!.

Big weekend for Plymouth argyle..... I feel positive, after all we would need 4 results to go against us!
