Yes - and sad also in that the text never mentions global warming - only El Nino. Was a convenient vehicle to snuck it in, tho' I suppose.  Anyway knocks, how about ( as proclaimed in another thread ) explaining why you think AGW deniers are less censured than the protagonists, and your deluded observation that 'we' are allowed to get away with it? BTW, I do fully concur with you that it is genuinely sad and wrong that the peguins have fallen victim to human encroachment and that the actions of some folk have allowed easier access for rats. But global warming? Nah,sorry.
