Occasional showers continued until around midnight, accompanied by gusty winds at times with a maximum gust of 46 mph at 0158 g.m.t. The rest of the night was cloudy with one or two more very brief and light showers and the wind decreasing a little.

Currently dry with sunny intervals.

Clear spells and the odd light shower overnight. Breezy. The morning so far has been bright and dry with hazy sunny spells and variable cloud.

Showers cleared away last evening leaving variable cloud overnight, low 4.7c with –0.1c on the grass, so a touch of ground frost detected. After a bright start cloud increased rapidly producing a light shower. At observation, overcast, feeling cool. A mostly cloudy and cold morning followed with a few showery bursts of moderate rain. The afternoon gradually turned brighter with some brief sunny spells, heavy thundery showers with hail soon developed in the area giving the odd rumble of thunder. Cool.

Sunny intervals during the first half of the morning but cloudy from about 0945, though remaining dry until midday. Intermittent light rain arrived from the west shortly after midday and became more persistent and moderate at times during mid-afternoon before diminishing to intermittent light rain and drizzle by early evening.
