A mostly dry day with sunny spells and a blustery westerly until around an hour ago when we had a very heavy shower with lots more to come showing on the radar.

Another cool day with a max of 15.8c. Still it's double figures!

Summery of the weather so far today: The day started off on a cloudy and quite windy note, however it was dry and wasn't that cold. As the morning went on, the cloud started to break fairly rapidly, and by mid morning, the sun started to shine through more and more. The wind eased as the day has gone, and this Afternoon has been lovely, sunny and has felt fairly warm out of the breeze. 

 

Current Weather now: Well the Sky has gone a little milky with some mid to quite high level, Alto cumulus, cirrostratus and there is also some Cumulus about. There is still some brightness around, along with a Light to moderate breeze too.

Clear spells overnight leading to a bright start with hazy sunny spells. By observation cloud had increased to almost overcast with just a little weak sunshine. Showers broke out by the end of the morning, these turning moderate and prolonged by afternoon, only brief spells of sunshine. The evening saw the showers clear, though remaining mostly cloudy. Breezy throughout, feeling cool.

Mostly cloudy with a few light showers through the morning, the afternoon saw some brief sunny spells only to be followed by heavy showers with thunder, these accompanied by gusty winds. Feeling distinctly cooler by mid afternoon. The showers cleared away by the end of the afternoon with broken skies following.

Clear spells to cloud last night.

Cloudy am, spells of rain, some heavy 0730 to 10am. Occasional brief showers this morning and early afternoon, sunny spells 13 to 1530, then cloudier again. LIght rain early this evening is turning heavier. Southerly winds, strenghened late morning, strong gusts up to 35mph this evening (note anemometer now mounted on the roof).
