A 8-15 year turn around is hardly conclusive proof of the turning of a 100+ year trend, especially when there is a 30-40 year period this century with essentally no warming, followed by some rapid increases.

However by the same token, AGW enthusiast were too quick to claim that rapid rises in global temps during the 80, 90s to early 2000s were solely due to climate change as its pretty obvious from the record that there is multi-decadal variations also on top of any warming trend.

I don't believe there is anything unprecendeted in what has been recently observed if you take a longer historical view. Unfortunately we seem to expect weather to be more average than it really is.

GW was banned from the climate area for comments much more tame and less inflammatory than the many that are going unchecked here.

rest of your previous post was just noise so I ignored

Miserable buggers.

doom mongering speculation.

too firmly wedded to their positions ever to climb down.

propagate the AGW fairy tale.

Its only now that the doommongers and warmists are realizing there errors

Anyway, this thread, like so many, has been lost to the anti-science conspiracy theory crowd. Time to close it methinks. Perhaps re-open when Weather-history gets his response from the Met-Office...

Interesting.  My post on this topic was removed.  Will BFTVs post be removed, as it contains no information and refers to people who don't agree with him as "the anti-science " conspiracy crowd?

Can we have a bit of even handed moderation here please?

I suspect that there's an 'element' that does not really welcome the scientific method? Why indulge in hard work, when there are aspersions to be cast?

Temporarily closing...
