I thought it maybe it must have been one of thiose ones where the run updayed after I had posted, stand corredted though

It did. I was aiming it at the people who say the CFS flip flops. Of course It's going to flip flop on one particular day 3 months out!

Oh dear, I've just read through a full page talking about winter 2013/2014 - can please stick to the topic of Autumn 2013 - I'm tempted to remove any posts which mention winter 2013/2014 in this thread...

Seeing as it's now autumn, perhaps we could have a thread dedicated to the winter season seeing as it's the most popular season on here? I'm guessing someone would have started one if it wasn't for fear of being locked.

Latest CFS for October is pointing to a fairly settled one

And the uppers

Aye, a month that would get progressively cooler. Probably quite seasonal and mellow.

Brutal for the South East for early November.

Pressure is too high. That stinks of strato-cumulus murk.

Blimey!

We are already talking laminate floors and we have only just hit Autumn!

Thus far Autumn is looking fine and for now, warm.

It would still be very cold though surely, possibly record breaking given that its only 8th Nov.

Changed again

Why do we bother posting these charts?

I know, I was going to check the uppers, surely with those heights and fairly high surface pressure it would be close to -10.

A bit of fun in the run up to winter!!

Can people not save a copy of the chat to their desktop and then upload that?

It is difficult for the learners to keep track with charts changing every six hours.

Not sure what you mean by uploading a thread, I did find a way last winter to make them stick but I think it doesn't work any more, I didn't think of that, your right its not useful if you read the whole thread hoping to learn and then one of my 'stonker' posts has a Bartlett next to it.

Personally am not wishing for cold or rainy weather as I have a festival planned, anyone know what the rest of September may bring?

I meant upload the picture of the chart.

Is it not possible to do that? Seems rather silly if you keep having to post links to live charts that change every so many hours.

Right click the image and save it to your pc. Then upload it from there.

Felt very like Autumnal heat yesterday. Hot with refreshing breezes, and everything had a slight golden tint to it. Reminiscent of last September's heat.

A lot of the LR models at the moment seem to want a high to our west just into November with not far enough North to give us a blast.

Thick thick cloud here today, I suppose there isn't enough energy in this september sun to burn away that pesky cloud fast enough Posted Image

Well the sun did come out but not till late afternoon and what's the bloody point by then, Tomorrow looks far better Posted Image
