Mist thickened to fog for a short time around 06:00 GMT before lifting in to low cloud. The cloud quickly began to thin and break toward the reading time at 09:00 GMT, now sunny and feeling very warm and humid. Continuing fine and mostly sunny for the rest of the day, feeling less humid by afternoon.
