Wind picking up in Ippy now and rain started. Its gonna kick off soon by the looks of it. :O

I lightning strike that I saw here in Twickehnam. That's the 5th thunder day here in January. Must be some sort of record?

Went thorugh quickly, but that was powerful!! Wheelie bins thrown across the road, next doors Ariel snapped off! And now just a light breeze and clearing!

Blimey from brentford!! Filled the bird feeders in time before deluge!!

That was intense. Oh my god pink lighting!! No thunder yet.

Ominous looking clouds with squally wind here. No rain yet though it can't be far away.

That was intense to say the least!! Started off getting dark, rain got heavier and wind picked up! Some really intense thunder right over head!hail and sheet rain, Car alarms went off!! My daughter was shaking like a leaf! Did look like a bolt hit the ground up the road from us, could here a lot of sirens after it passed.

Can't tell if it's thunder or just the planes to heathrow. But lightning lit up sky towards twickenham area.

Yes had 3 big flashes here in Twick now.

Big rumble of thunder here and sudden short sharp burst  of heavy rain.

I can confirm there is NO rain at Gatwick at this point. Patchy dark clouds. Bit gusty nothing more!
