I thought i heard thunder in the distance a few hours ago for a while, just doing nothing weather now, 22 degrees, its dropped a degree since then

18.4c here 77% humidity, and very still and cloudy, can hear people/neighbours sitting out chatting, me..... I gotta go bed....working early tomorrow

it was like pea soup here last night it was quite dense after all the rain we had and yes it was just rain as usual, current temp is 23.2c humidity 73% dp 18c

Looking like a cracking week coming up, not wall to wall sunshine,

but looks like any showers will be very isolated, temperature wise getting warmer as the week goes on by wednesday 26 or 27c looks on the cards

High of 27.3c recorded here today so finally broke the magical 80f barrier for those who still work in old money. For such a decent summer it's seemed a long while coming though.

Yes, noticed the same for Rostherne near here, just scraped 80F today with 26.8°C at 5pm - there were eight 80F days by this time last year.

Only the 2nd 25°C day having got the first on the 17th - missed out when Blackpool, Crosby and Hawarden all managed it on 19th May.

My car was registering 32c this afternoon, far too hot to be working, weather station was showing 35c in my back garden at approx. 6pm but it is in full sun. A lovely breeze has been on the go this afternoon making it a bit more bearable. I love the heat but prefer to be sat by a pool or by the sea, quick dip, a lounger and a long cold drink, slip slap slop 8)

Very hot here 30 c hard to work in ,phew !!....

Just got in the house and ours is showing 29c.It seemed at bit OTT at first but probably right.Either way it's still our hottest day of what is turning yet another decent summer, especially after the run of poor ones we'd had up to last year.

Our altitude usually keeps us cooler than neighbouring towns and on days like these it can be a lot more comfortable but the last few days have certainly been on the warm side.

House faces south and the heat doesn't get much change to dissipate and upstairs has hardly fallen below the mid 20's for over a couple of weeks now.

Other than that though, I ain't complaining.

This morning started out with no or next to little cloud, and very sunny. The cloud was starting to build up by mid afternoon, and so couple with a cool breeze now and again , it was a welcome relief from the baking sun. The top temperature here was 28.1C at 2.15pm with humidity at 46%

Still 22.4C out there. Just been for a spin on the bike, stopped by the lake for a swim, temp of the water a lovely 21.6C. This is easily the best summer for a fair few years.

Wish I could pull that cooler fresher weather down from the North West (it will get here eventually), last few nights have made for uncomfortable sleeping.  Low 20's with a refreshing breeze please, not the sticky high 20's!
