Saturday well the GFS has the low further south over the M4 before it was over the midlands - surface temperatures looking far too high to start with - DPs 2/3C even across midlands, 528 dam line to the S of Scotland. We need everything to drop :p but I've seen such complexities before and you can never be lenient. This will go the wire just like this time maybe with a bit of luck some of us more north in the region especially might just gain entry to the polar express *cue applause* I say unlikely but not impossible.

Shockingly mild touching 11C :bad: boring SW'lies have returned after an extensive break. December wasn't at all snowy but it did deliver in frosts and very cold minima, frosts staying put all day. My mood really does plummet when January a 'core' winter month is more reminiscent of last years - washout & blow dry.

Well I played some football for 2 hours early this afternoon, and despite the fact it was a couple of degrees warmer than at any point these last few days the wind made it absolutely freezing (so much so i couldn't do the zip on my jumper up afterwards for my cycle home). :D But the temp has now risen further and it's feeling very 'warm' out there at the moment now! nearly 13 degrees o.O with a high of 14 predicted at 3am.......  Bring back the crisp sunshine forget snow for now!

quite cold indoors but when i went out with the rubbish earlier it was quite mild outside and i was comfortable without a coat on, now it seems to be increasingly windy but i don't think its raining.

Heavy to Moderate rainfall sweeping eastwards unfortunately hanging around the South Eastern corner clearing by 4 am leaving friday to be rather pleasant, cooler and sunny. Luvly. :)
