For the love of God just snow. I hate coming here checking every 10 minutes. I will blow my head off if we get nothing on Tuesday\wednesday

Well if you want to forward to tuesday on the 18Z GFS it's been snowing all day :D Oh! what's this....... Weds :cold:http://www.meteociel.fr/modeles/gfse_cartes.php?&ech=84&mode=2

much better that for 9am tues, decent snow into west midlands, looks a wee bit heavier than on 12Z

best to use the netweather GFS precip charts, i find those meteociel ones a bit inaccurate, and not high resolution

Guys,

The latest shower came through Solihull 20 minutes ago, with blobby rain and the lamppost revealed one or two flakes.

Temperature remains around 2.0C after falling to 1C early on with a ground frost, so could be slippy tomorrow.

No real cheer as it should have been snow, We  must have picked up some low laying warmer air from the Irish sea this afternoon.

Any decent precipitation will easily remove it and it will then fall as snow,( as is being reported from SW South wales at the moment)..

MIA.

Lucky bugger. We've got nothing. Just a flake would do!

You asked

Rain here tonight at work in Warwick. But just to prove our snow shield broke last night, here is our very (unimpressive) snow this morning!

I cant see much disruption from the possible snow next week, Has been followed for what seems like an age in the model thread as though we are looking at a foot of snow, when i think for the majority will see the usual 2-5cms providing we get snow and not rain that is. Maybe due to the lack of snow last year maybe

Snow tornado so we could get nothing ? I thought this is nailed on with the models . I might have to buy a snow machine at this rate. Every year I look forward to waking up to 10 inches of snow and it never happens .

Dance with wings so do you think we could get a decent fall Tuesday and Wednesday ?

I just want to get the SLEDGE outttt!

With cold air in place 850's-5 -7 and the Atlantic trying to push it's way in and bumbing into the cold air, i have high Confidence that we will see SNOW come tues/weds :D

Id be dissapointed to see nothing, but I dont think we will see anything that special, Like i said 2-5cms be my punt for the midlands. Not counting one or two in here that live on top of a hill

That little rogue shower from earlier is going to make it all the way through to Lowestoft at this rate!

Meanwhile, patchy cloud here...and the shower culling to our west continues.

Sharp frost out there though.

I suppose we will know more when the country file weather forecast is done for the week tomorrow. If I get to Wednesday and Ben Rich comes on the screen and says a few light sleet showers the TV will be going out the windfow.
