May now so welsh rain shadow effect is dead (apart from when it comes to blocking storms) and cloud just rolls over.

BBC say sunny day tomorrow, GFS cloudyish again, still a massive face off between GFS and ECM for next weekend onwards.

Tonight's rain just heading into Cornwall. Looks like it could be pretty wet.

EURO 4 model predicting just under an inch for most of the region in the next 36 hours.

Grey grey grey, as soon as the low stratomurk burnt off the thick mid-upper level stuff moved in to replace it so very little sunshine in the end.

Looks like a pretty wet night on the way.

Just starting to come down now. It seems to have arrived quite a bit earlier than predicted?

Hi Bish.....Just thought that i would have a peak, expecting it to be the other side of the channel and i was little surprised how soon it's came upon us.

Still dry here Bish. Rain seems to be further south and east at the moment, thus sparing the northwest of the region.

Not a bad day overall here, some nice spells of sunshine, 15C.

Very limited sunshine today and since 4 pm none at all, why oh why do people keep misleading people and saying SW'lys/Southerlies are sunny and as clear as PM northwesterlies, they seem to keep to this false way of thinking ignoring the facts.

You're the only one who seems to keep banging on about it to be honest.

Though I'm not really fond of rain (mostly when it's just persistent and light), was nice to have seen some proper heavy rain through the night.

Models, especially the GFS and ECMWF, hinting at possibilities for some (much) warmer air to get pumped up from our South towards the beginning of next week. The orientation of the trough to our West and the way High Pressure to our South-West builds towards the UK/Eastern UK for next week will likely have a great affect on how warm and sunny conditions could be. While there is that risk of things getting 'watered-down', something perhaps worth keeping an eye on - particularly if you enjoy warm/hot weather.

Good drop of rain overnight. Currently drizzley and windy, the type of weather that makes you really wet very quickly, temp 10.6C.

too wild out there, unusual for May, usually expect easterly winds now, not raging westerly, and blossom from tree looks like its snowing!
