[Derbyshire Snow]

I am getting more confident that the main and last batch of snow tracking  down from the northwest will hit our area and most of Derbyshire head on ,as the movement is definitely south east, not south.

The question is it will stay strong, decay or dare i say intensify

Was just saying in the moaning thread how we've not had any measurable snow since January 2013. Not a great stat!

Steady snow in north Wakefield - not settling on all surfaces, but it's doing pretty well.

Got lob sided was moderate in the eastern side of sheffield should get heavier again soon.

Very light here but the radar looks promising, precip building behind the main band, and the stuff over the North West hopefully heading this way

If you take a look here...http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/ the 12.08pm forecast and then compare that with the radar as it stands, theres a very obvious eastward push...

BBc for example have the front pushing no further inland than Glasgow, whereas on radar... its pushing into Edingborugh. 

i think an adjustment of 30 to 40miles east is in

yeah looks like a nice hours worth of heavier stuff to come through soon. Hope it keeps its intensity

Looks like Eastern Sheffield should get a few centimeters if the intensity holds less this side.

If you're a subscriber you can put the post code in dunno about free version. That way you should be able to see whats coming although as ever things come on and go in a few minutes.
