Still looks like some decent intensity stuff to come through even on that though PIT!?  I think we'll see a decent covering by the time its all gone through :)

Well considering none of the heavier stuff made to ground earlier I would say not. A little dusting at most if we're lucky.

Nothing here as of yet, bitterly cold outside

Have the faith Jed I'm slightly west of you. Just got a text from boys on way back from Manchester City match and the top of the M62 is crazy.

Edit: Glad you have snow ;-)

I wonder how high you need to be to actually get the snow.

What's nice about tonight's snow is it's all coming straight down the land from the north, rather than that s*** bag irish sea along with it's milder uppers..

1000% spot on HC, that irish sea is a constant pain in the arris - im just about far enough east to escape the worst of its horrid modifying effect!!

Had a couple of cm here, nothing special but a bonus :)

I remain quietely confident Russ :) only needs a couple of heavy bursts to drop a few centimeters in this dry cold.

Looking at the Raintoday radar it looks like the furthest eastward extent is going to be selby/ tadcaster again!  Good luck to all of you further West!

I've just driven down from Durham today and there were good patches on the north facing slopes above the city..

Moderate snow been falling in Oakworth for the last hour now, a good couple of centimetres so far. In prime location in western Pennines.

Light dusting over everything here. Easily settling due to dry cold conditions.  It does look to be dying so wouldn't expect much for those hopeful people in the south.
