Actually Fergie is a fully qualified Meteorologist and as such is probably the most qualified person alongside GP to post on here.

For the record there are members as/more so qualified, But that's beside the point.. Please lets get back to discussing the up-coming Winter as Paul politely asked only a few post above.

Thanks, PM.

So not quite back on point but hopefully allowed to lighten the mood and retrain focus on Winter.

Nobody wants to see dangerous road conditions but this is a lighthearted look at Russian drivers currently struggling with road conditions.

Will we see a period of ice and snow this Winter?

Ha ha great video, those Russian drivers are nuts. I feel sorry for the poor pedestrians having to skip out the way of a skidding car! Catchy tune as well.

Re 'winter 2015/16 who knows what is in store!

Fergie is a fully fledged, highly qualified professional meteorologist....we are fortunate to have his insight and reflection on Exeter thoughts. The message may not always be what we want to hear but as they say, don't shoot the messenger he is just stating it as it is...carry on Fergie

It's great having fergies insight from Exeter. This will keep our feet on the ground this winter. Oh and seeing i started it, Fergie is not a fully qualified meteorologist just google or wiki him.

I'm still going with the met anomilies, mild to start the gradually cold into jan and feb.

And to draw a line now, am going to lock this one and start a fresh upcoming winter thread - the final countdown....

(oops clicked wrong button and accidentally deleted the thread then, will lock now and get the new thread rolling in a second).
