Lovely wintery scene up on the moors this morning, worth a trip with the sledge and kids of course

Looks good not much on this side of the Moor. Still enough for the dog to go loopy though!

Good to see some people in our area enjoying some of the white stuff, for me I have written off winter 15/16 as a non-event. looking forward to summer now

Looking forward to summer also to watch the storms take the same track as the past few years, gets within 5 miles of here splits to the west and east and then regroups as it goes past, just like the winter snows :D:rofl::fool:

Just been up to Dartmoor with Evening thunder. As we were driving along, this man was driving the opposite way manically waving at us. It wasn't festivalking at all? LOL. Anyway, about 10 cm of snow had fallen but unfortunately it was starting to melt as we left at about 13:00.

Not arf!!! But almost had complete and catastrophic Cardiac failure in the process. Cheers for the thought Kent! I am one happy chappy. The wife is happy as I'd be sulking for the rest of the day has we lost!

Beautiful day out, currently in the garden, digging holes and enjoying the weather

So now the cornish have seen snow it must be our turn surely.. :sorry:

Of course the heavy disruptive snow event mid week is no more as we all said it wouldn't! Surprised BBC played it up so early to be honest. :nonono:

I just get the feeling winter is over!

Been a long and tiring wait and it is starting to make me angry. :diablo::cray:

I shall try to avoid posting once I am drunk now

I don't expect to have to travel as I pay more to live up top of Mendips for a reason! :wallbash: I have been looking for work near mountains of north wales with hope of one day moving to more prone location but not much work that way.

There is always spring for me I know being high but it is really clutching at straws waiting for spring snow when my thoughts start to move towards warmth.

I think I might move to somewhere in Canada or something  hot summers, travel in to America and head south to storm chase every Spring, and then have -30 winters with feet of snow, wonder if it would ever get boring ? :D

I doubt it I have a friend that lives there and she loves the cold winters and hot summers.

Canada is my favourite country. I have family in Ontario about 3 hrs north of Toronto. I've been lucky enough to be out there in summer and in deep winter. +35c and -25c. Incredible place and I would move there tomorrow!!
