Spring is well and truly embedded even if the temps cool off this week..

Another cloudy day apart from a few glimpses of sun, Generally cloudy since Monday too apart from an hour or two first thing Thursday, and cloudy last weekend too.
Hopefully some sunshine comes through this week/next weekend.

Quite mild today with a max of 14.6C although it felt cooler in the cloud and the wind.

Will that front even make it here in one piece....it's breaking up like Arsenals season. :cray:

It has a couple of good squall lines on it, one way oop north, just south of Lincoln, and the other NNW of Exeter. It does look to becoming less of a frontal feature down here..

I can't believe how rough it is here! Gusting to 41mph, 2 minute average is 26mph. The 10 minute average is 23mph.

Burnham on Sea looking like a good place to maximize the squall effect. Where's our Wells reporter when you need her?

Wet all morning and drive through that squall line with torrential rain at times that drowned out the music (no pun intended). Moderate rain again now.

Another forecast of heavy rain that isn't likely to materialise here.

Back edge just gone through, and amazing 0.7mm of rain. How heavy?

Same here. Up to 1.0mm now although 0.4mm was overnight so only 0.6mm from the rain just passed.

Absolutely shameful forecast for today if you consider the last 4 days solid support for rain morning to early afternoon here all that time, then this morning.....ah well, maybe not.

Twas interesting how the pressure gradient didn't appear to be that intense and the overall pressure was not that low mbar wise, even the rate of change was not that great And yet for a while there it certainly stirred the air movement, and now you wouldn't even know it..

Beautifully clear and sunny, 6.7c after 2.9c minimum with a leafy pattern frost on the cars.

Daddy day care is in full working order! Where the heck have the last 8 months gone?

Those showers don't seem very potent like forecast suggested?
