Nothing here, save for 2 hours' watching spectacular-looking but almost empty Cbs!:cray:

thought i was gonna be a in a good spot but all happened 15 miles east :wallbash: Not even any heavy rain, a few minutes of drizzle which scared the tourists home and now the sun is returning

Absolutely nothing here so far. :(

Hoping later today may produce something however Estofex dont really predict anything and thats normally bad for IMBY.

Currently cool, cloudy and windy here. Certainly not "storm" weather. (Cheltenham)

The front is just clearing to my north now, heading into the Scottish Highlands. Skies clear behind with the sun coming out, 22C now. Praying I get a good storm, extremely impatient after seeing that storm in SW England

Hi all, rumbling away nicely just offshore  at Spurn Point on the east coast. A few flashes also noted.

Looking like the met might get the 2nd bit right. Storms breaking out over north wales moving northwards. So nothing forecast for here so hopefully we will go the same way as SE and get an unexpected storm

More sporadic rain developing in Scotland. Really hope this doesn't mess up our chances of a good storm

Nothing in Birmingham yet although the wind has picked up a lot and towers are going up all around.

Nice TCu clouds popping up all around me, i'm not quite sure about the Edale strikes on lightningmaps unless it's IC, as there's nothing that stands out looking in that direction through the lower clouds.

Looking good for Sheffield area now, which is very promising going forward today for more storms. As last night's front clears away into the N Sea, it looks like groups and lines of storms will be developing behind it.

I need to mow the lawn at some point today....

I think we missed it.... Like what?!?

Lightning was spectacular .  I think because the thunder wasn't loud , just a constant low level growl , it didn't wake people up .
