Shooting the messenger I'd say, if wasn't you somebody else would of done. Interesting to see what spin the mildies and the coldies put on the development though.

Perhaps i should have lied and said “yep all snow event next Thursday”?

Nobody wants snow more than me, but a spade is a spade for now. Could easily change tonight. And it’s just the gfs.

Strange how there’s very little mention of the UKMO in there which according to the only post I’ve seen isn’t bad.

Indeed by 10.30 this could be just a distant memory

Why oh why is it so difficult to get a decent cold spell in the Country. It's impossible for models not to downgrade cold spells before they even start.

Why can't we be knee deep in snow with  sub zero temperatures and looking at the weather charts and seeing -10 to -14 850's 5-7 day's away.

Instead we are all nervously looking out West to see what waiting to derail anything decent before it starts.

Still not excited until I actually see snow falling, anything until then pure conjecture.

Is this a trolling post I read before me:unknw:

That said I killed a wasp today. Spring is round the corner:rofl:

Murderer...:acute:

Pathetic attempt at trolling as I'm pretty confident of freezing rain instead. Most likely at 7am tomorrow as I'm walking to work :sorry:

We still have cold spell inbound, but no question about it, 12z have been a downgrade from 120+. Let’s hope this reverses overnight.

Felt yesterday afternoon that this cold spell would downgrade. Just a question of by how much.

It catches me out every time!

I shouldn't have been in any doubt that this week will be a non event... perhaps after the 10th you will all see something. :search:

I’m not going in the mad thread for now, way to snipey! It’s pathetic really. It’s nobody’s fault.
