I've wondered that when I've seen it before, doesn't really make much sense other than 'cold and snow', but then it's showing a higher temperature than the days before that.

I been following this through the GFS 10 hPa charts it seems pretty consistent and getting closer and closer to the time frame it's out to +240 now be nice if we did get a SSW event to finish off winter in style..

Good to hear your view too.. 

It’s caused a bit of a worry with some eventers ( horse competition people) .. i.e start of the season in March.

News just in from Reuters ,the HMS Model Discussion has hit an iceberg off the Bournemouth coast with the loss of all hands,brave to the end the skippers last words were nailed on South Western blizzards at t240........then the sea claimed her........

With all of the carnage in here tonight I haven't checked what the weathers doing here.

Nothing happening. Even the temperatures not moving, stuck at 4.7°C.
