Also, this could impact the Ireland v Samoa game and cause it to be cancelled. If it was,a 0-0 score would be the outcome and Ireland would probably not qualify as a result with Scotland benefiting.

This now puts the Scotland v Japan game at risk, which would see Scotland knocked out.

My Nephew has just started a new job in Kyoto and relocated there.

Might be a bit more potent than a UK winter storm.

I always enjoy a sprinkling of rain to spruce up an F1 grand prix. I just hope that it doesn't cause too many issues because I don't want to get up early for red flags.

Those red flags will take some holding as will all the other colours.

TBH its not often that a Typhoon gate crashes sporting events.

I imagine the rugby ball doing a complete U turn when the player tries to kick it between the sticks.

Perhaps Farrell might actually convert a try without the posts assistance !!

At 30s in the top video , there is a nice graphic display of the cone of uncertainty for Hagibis (Scottish rugby fans just calling it Haggis)

a reminder that there is a wide variation of path, which the static drawing doesn't always convey well.

Typhoon Hagibis, a violent storm that the U.S. military's forecasting agency has put on par with a Category 5 hurricane, is...

The England game is Saturday teatime local, 08z The Scotland game is Sunday evening local time, about 11Z Yokohama in the Tokyo area

Ireland and Wales matches are further west (potentially out of the way of the typhoon) on Kyushu.

Although there is signage in English for tourists around the venues and main routes, getting clear understandable information before (and maybe during) such an event could be a worry.

We rely on people signing up to warning apps here, for weather warnings or flood warnings, there is no translation on our UK pages. The JMA page is in English in parts http://www.jma.go.jp/jma/en/Emergency_Warning/ew_index.html

Theres a press conference st 04.00 BST tommorow with all the plans for the matches.

Nothing has been cancelled yet, but as Englands group has already been decided bar who comes first, it may well be called off.

Scotlands game at the same venue may well be moved as the group is still wide open, and a cancellation draw would eliminate them.

They have not yet stated what is to happen but will not give the 0-0 draw for either the Irish or Scottish matches given qualification is on a knife edge in the group.
