Moderate and heavy rain eventually stopped early last evening. Remaining cloudy overnight. Dawning overcast damp underfoot. Showers scattered around. The morning saw bright and sunny spells, the afternoon more cloudy again with showers in the area.

The rain turned moderate to heavy and continuous after morning readings, accompanied by a falling temperature, dropping to 3.2c by afternoon and continued heavy rain. Windy, strong from the NE.
