Hmmm. There seems to be a few more cells popping up. They must be getting their energy in the mid levels now and be more elevated, as there is quite a chill wind blowing now. Interesting!

Stranger things have happened lol.

Every day is a school day in meteorology. Also maintaining their Easterly trajectory even with a howling NE wind. I’ve rarely seen this before.

Edit: Thunder just heard!!

Lightning visible to the NW.

a very interesting day this has been. Just baffled as to what is causing them to maintain intensity! Changing wind directions above? A sudden uptick in wind shear? Converging winds? Truly amazed!

Wtf!! Seeing flashes every few seconds now in that cell heading into W Lincs. Jeez man!

Look west mate. You may see it. Truly remarkable! Hopefully it holds its intensity as it looks to be on a collision course with you!

The cells over south herts and beds look impressive from here but not visible lightning yet.

Yet again, St Neots is in between everything, even though showers popping up all around - not seen a single flash or heard a rumble all day!   Ah well.
