Nothing here again, frost has lifted from late last night and just damp cold rubbish , as seems to be the norm these days.

Got to say, take out 2018 and there hasn't been much of a winter here for 13 years now, since 2010.

A slight covering here in darlo, but that band to the north is getting thinner so not expecting much

Good to hear, maybe we may see a few flakes in the next hour.

Just been some sleet/snow here with very light precipitation so if that band holds together we got a chance

Does sound like it’s heading south to here. Let’s hope the snow shield isn’t in force again.

Maybe i threw the toys out of the pram too quickly, snowing moderate here now, slight covering quite quickly so ground obviously very cold.

Yes I did the dog walk, must remember my gloves.  Very light here now but got a slight covering.

The radar shows the smallest thinnest band of showers coming down this way, doubt it will amount to much mind.

Am I right in thinking, looking at the radar, that the main band hasn't reached us yet

Not yet but it's such a small band of showers I would rule out a usual fizzle here.

It is now currently snowing though and looks to be the heaviest stuff around 10:15.

Yep it does look to be breaking up a bit as it makes it way down, let's see what 10-11am brings, here's hoping we all get to see at least a centimeter or two, doesn't look too promising for much more during this cold snap.

Band looks to be breaking up , shame as it’s obviously cold enough for snow

GFS looks much more promising for showers this week and it nailed this band of snow 4 days ago
