Pretty much all the models get snow into the region for tomorrow and friday now,including ECM,so no doubt updated biblical snow warnings to come this morning from the met office.

 

UKV has some decent looking showers moving in from the north sea this afternoon and overnight as well.

 

Down to radar watching now.

I have palm trees in my garden,

The showers are very slow moving so if you're lucky to get hit today I'd expect a long downpour.

At the minute and this will change it’s looking snow to sleet back to snow. All snow with elevation

Amazing too see Wearside is again is in the sweet spot whilst Tyneside at least looking  at the cameras currently has got nothing. Was like that during December if I remember rightly.

Latest UKV had the showers quite widespread tonight and it’s the only model that has picked up on the current showers
