-0.3c now in Darlo DP down to -0.7c it's slowly starting to stick, but the damp ground isn't helping

Same here but the puddles are now starting to fade meaning snow is gaining advantage.

Must be a radar glitch as nothing here.  Ground is bone dry

I'm around 5 mile up the road and have nothing. Strange.

Coming in fits & bursts atm. When it gets heavy there's a strong Southerly wind, so blowing from Catchgate over to Chopwell. Perhaps as it moves slightly East you should see some

Hail showers here now. Looking at radar there's precipitation moving in off the sea now

Very heavy?  Radar showing no red in your area.  Must be another glitch. On a scale of 1 -10 with 10 being the heaviest snow you have ever seen what is it?

Latest wind observations and forecast.  Its after midnight I expect snow showers to come in off the sea

I would say between 5 and 7. It’s possibly the wind making it look more heavier than it is.

Wow you must have had a lot of snow already then, still waiting for it to start accumulating on the ground. It has accumulated on the cars and grass.

Nah not really it was mainly off cars and the grass, which is probably 1cm

There is definitely a trend for those heavier showers to sink south/come in off the sea.....

Flakes definitely getting bigger now the main front is heading North. Too much of a dryer, Northerly element earlier on. Much prefer these Southerly battleground falls for speed of depth.

Slightly more marginal towards coast

Yes you are a bit far in land for the coastal notherly showers! They are heavier ppn, but dont last long and you have to get luck

Strange watching the radar animation with the front moving north and the convection off the sea just mashing into it from the east.

My brother is saying heavy snow in Morpeth and lying straight away.  You can see in the showers up there its heavier.  Hopefully its heading south.....

He is where the dot is.  I am 13 miles south....
