Looks like fizzling out before arriving here but it's nice to know other people Have  some

I looked at the chance for the coming week if they verify then Thursday looks like a snow fest for everyone as a low comes down from the north and a shallow low forms a daughter low on the southern flank

let's hope that verifies and that could be a lot of snow for everyone and stick around for awhile as temperatures look to remain cold until at least January 12 or 13th possibly beyonf that as well

Well, you wouldn't want to win £10 million on the lottery only to be told it'll be paid to you £10 a week?!

I think there's been a bit of sleet here, hard to tell with the poor quality street lighting in these parts.

Temp edging downward in the NE flow now. That change in direction being what looks to divert the showers across Wales & the Midlands to my west tonight - oh well!

Current temp 1.4C. A sixth near miss of the week means still not seen any falling snow. Honestly, the way any heavier precipitation that might contain a few flakes goes out of its way to avoid this area is laughable:

Crap again.

Temp dropped 2C in under two hours to -0.4C, ready for a night of being dodged by any snow-producing precipitation.

Snowing outside! Took my 5 year old out naked - made her put my coat on lol. We stood on the patio and opened our mouths to catch it and she ate it off the arm of my coat lol

Name and address for social services and cruelty to children please... (Unless of course you were referring to the fact that it was you that was naked), in that case.....no let's no go there, this is a family thread...

We are the capital of dull weather here! Everything interesting gets snaffled by the chilterns, cotswolds or downs to the south and we get enveloped in freezing fog instead

We must be in desperate times when a 20min wet snow shower, giving a dusting of no more than 1cm, makes headline local news;

Or just desperately short of anything newsworthy to be published.

Looking at the radar, it'll be March by the time that precipitation to the north gets here, assuming it doesn't wait for a southwesterly to arrive and move northwards...!

Been tracking this precipitation. Seems to be building and heading Isle of Wight way. Might sink or shrink before it may come this way! May see what it’s like in an hour or so...anybody else is tracking it???
