Sleet in this part of Stoke now. Will be snowing in the higher parts.

Yeah. Pouring with sleet here. Met Office have a warning for snow covering the Staffordshire Moorlands.

Snowing in pelsall ❄️❄️

Just got back from my allotted exercise, It's vile out there, a sleety cold rain and icy wind. Village common looking lovely but pathways starting to get very grotty.

Facebook friend has put up a video of snow falling in Weston Coyney, just 2 miles from me but about 60m higher. Looks like there’s a lot more snow left there from the weekend too.

Sleeting here aswell, big noticeable flakes amongst the drizzle now too, pity this is the back end and will be going past shortly.

EDIT: Plenty of Snow up on the Winking Man webcam

It's been snowing for just over an hour now but only a very thin covering of fresh snow. The temperature is 0.3c  and it's turned foggy in the last half hour. I don't think there'll be much out of this before a thaw sets in.

The snow cover has held up quite well today about 90 per cent but very light rain now the writing is on the wall

This is what I hate, sleet and wet snow turning to rain with a slushy mess left behind but feeling raw with very cold wet feet

Probably, but this time last week, we were fairly convinced we would be too far north for last Sunday's event.

This winter has been quite unpredictable so far here in the West Midlands. The beauty of the Atlantic not being in total control of our weather!

Yep lovely while it lasted.  Hirlam 12z  as 80mm of rain falling over us  Wednesday into Thursday    quite a difference.
