Cloudy and Misty with the odd sunny spell. 11.2°C

A grey nothingness day, not feeling quite as cold as the previous couple of days and there was a brief light shower earlier but not amounting to much.

Gone very very dark and now raining.

Genuinely surprised this evening, 13mm of rain in little over an hour with most of that in half hour downpour. 
 

Very stormy sky as it approached, then the dusk sky as it moved away was reminiscent of a thundery summer evening around 21.00!

Yes, we had a heavy shower as well at 1pm and although it was cold it did appear almost castellanusy, like a summer sky,  just before it started raining.

Early season spanish plume meeting late season cold snap would be the best weather scenario to get!

Had memories on Faceache this morning from 2018 we were experiencing the Beast from the east today three years ago.

The sun is trying to break through this morning and it is a lot brighter than recent days, even felt warmer now the dankness has lifted.

Cloudy again but lower dewpoints today and lower humidity.

Interestingly, the warmest March 5th I’ve ever recorded was in... 2013...

Turned out to be a sunny mporning with the Sc returning this afternoon

Sunny to start the day but became cloudier as the day went on. Reached 7.7°C, currently 3.7°C

Currently a layer of Sc which is no surprise looking at the midnight sounding

Slightly disappointed to still be dealing with stratocumulus coverage again... was hoping for a sunnier weekend.

Air frost last night and now 05.5C

The Sc has broken to some extent here. Quite a pleasant day

Indeed, it broke up here a lot after 2.30 and the remainder of the day has been quite pleasant. Now completely clear so a frosty night to come!
