Much milder today here with a max of 15.3C from a min of 7.3C and mostly cloudy and windy. Currently some spits and spots in the wind at 11.3C. Going to be on the edge of cold and mild air in the next couple of days before the cold wins.

Light snow on here and a dusting of what looks like wet stuff on some surfaces, mainly the grass. So far it's not even close to the overnight fals last week.

Getting a bit heavier and beginning to turn whiter now.

What an absolute dog’s breakfast the forecast looks. Snowing as I left with a wee covering, as Rav alluded it’s currently no different to a lot of last week. Down in Inverness now and it’s light snow here

Entertaining driving conditions currently on the A944, Tillyfourie looking rather pretty.

Heavy wet snow falling since at least 06:30, quite a thaw at the same time so thickness only 1cm at home as temperature hovering between 0 and 1.5c. Calm conditions.

Now why can't we get hours of heavy snow like this in December and January!

And yet not so far away here in Aviemore, it's rain all the way so far. So close!

Looks like it’s back to rain at least mid level on CairnGorm vs snow piling up at the Lecht!

We've definitely upset the snow gods for this to happen in April. Who can we sacrifice to appease them? Answers on an ICBM to the Kremlin...

Turned to sleet wet snow in Aberdeen late afternoon as we left  at 3c but back to powder snow in the Glens of Foundland at 0.5c. Stayed as snow to Keith but was sleet at home at 3.5c. 10% of snow still lying at home from he morning fall.

Snowed in to the afternoon yesterday but only a couple of inches of rather wet stuff to show for it. Looks a more substantial bout overnight tonight. Ideally that will be the last of the white stuff, that recent high pressure spell of dry, sunny and mild would be welcome back for sure.
