A bit of an anticlimax in the end. Mosts gusts were low 40's, with a random gust of 51mph. Winds have decreased now.

Yes. I've just put the heating on. From 10.9°C at midday, to 6.3°C. Feels like is 1.5°C.

Broke my April wind gust record here, its only at 3m so much lower than 10m obviously but Soton Airport has had a gust of 63 mph!

Next door neighbours shed roof has gone. Just been out to add a bit of strength to a wildly wobbling fence panel. It's windy out there lol (and wet and COLD at 6.1 5.9°C).

This pigeon has ridden out the strong winds sat here since early this morning. Making the most of it before the tree really gets in to leaf, and the starlings return.

Thunder, lightning, and hail the size of small marbles never seen anything like it. Looks like winter outside, bring back some warm sunshine.

Heavy showers and strong winds for most of the day. The wind has dropped now. Reached 10.4°C earlier but most of the afternoon was only around 6°C.

So gusty here, hate this kind of weather, can't wait for this wind to die down.

Today has been an almost carbon copy of yesterday. Dry morning, wet and windy afternoon and evening, no break in the rain and 5c at 3pm this afternoon. Folks, weather wise for April it doesn’t get much….well, choose your own word…than that.

I really feel for those who have paid to have a holiday this week. Awful weather.
