Can report plenty of thunder from the New Forest cell. Frequent booms about once per minute for the last 10/15 mins. Not being picked up by Blitz, but lightning maps is getting plenty

Not heard any thunder, but a cracking downpour. 4.4mm and counting!

Raining ??

It is now!

I was only sat in the sunshine a few minutes ago, then massive drops of rain were making splats about 8 inches in diameter.

Lightning recorded on my station now - still haven't heard anything.

A cell has shot up east of Reigate, heading our way. The development was super fast. A pure disk of downpour on the radar. Should be interesting....

Everything coming from SE and NE seems like it will converge on South London (I REALLY hope!). Though there is every chance that it will all stay too far north, and never reach from the south...

Cant work out if that's Old town or Hampden park! Carew road here, we certainly have had the heavy rain and a bit of thunder! Not so much lightning sadly.

Well I got briefly excited but its been a very disappointing two days here. Looks like all I'm going to get is a decaying storm coming from Southampton with just rain.

Looks like sumet might be brewing here in Kent. Nice bit of towering cumulus at the minute

Looks like the warnings to far east especially for East Anglia. This tends to happen so I'm unsure why they always include coastal areas the convergence is always more inland.
