I was out looking for Aurora last two nights, I didn't get any photos as it was partly cloudy Thursday. Clear skies earlier today but Aurora was too far north. There's a few photos from Northumberland of the Aurora.

On Thursday I saw a couple of Persieds, got this one with my phone on a small tripod.

Does anyone know if any large iron meteorites actually hit the ground this year?  
 

A very rare few iron meteorites contain components that I’d like to aquire but i assume governments get there way before the public does, especially if it contains a material not known to man or science; which they can do on rare occasions.  
 

It’s how civilisations grow from below the 1.0 on the Kardashev Scale to above 1.0 and discover rocket fuel to enable them to travel with ease between worlds.  
 

All you need to get off of the planet is a so called God particle and they can be found in galaxies but sometimes arrive on worlds within meteorites

I watched that show a while back, it was interesting to see them under a microscope.  
 

The ones i need are at least a Kilo
