i still call a bust for my area, still raining but very humid in the 90s i think

The south coast isn't really in the area to be defined as a bust or otherwise today, because we're stuck with the messy dynamic rainfall from France, as forecast.

I was referring to areas further north under the MDT/SVR, in which the action was always going to kick off during the afternoon. It can't possibly be called a bust at lunchtime...

The storms (if you can call them that) don't have a lot of oomph by the look of them, and are heading N or slightly NNW. I genuinely cannot see the proper eastern region getting anything significant from today, unless there's some sort of invisible mechanism coming into play later.

Sheet grey skies here and noticeable reduction in heat with an uptick in the breeze.

Enjoying my beer in the pub garden though, despite the rain knackering the cricket. Got a bonus free pint because a rogue parasol knocked my drink over.

Silver linings and all that.

Very gentle rain here. Nothing storm related at all yet...

A few very favourable soundings that suggest supercells are starting to emerge !👌

Distant thunder from the South, it’s East of Stratford….

It could be a direct hit for me 🤩

Throwing it down here in Cambridge now. Nothing too out of the ordinary at the moment though.
