Must have been downgraded or delayed because we certainly didn’t get winds here in Wales that deserved a warning or a named storm.

Looks like most places here kept even below the 40mph level let alone reaching the predicted 45-50mph gusts. I only got a 36mph and 38mph gust late morning time.

You have another 11 hrs to go until the end of the wind warning. It began at 11 am and ends at 3 am Sunday morning.

Yes i know this.

But all current reports and even forecasts had the peak winds around midday for here which is confusing to me as it doesn't match up with the timing of the warnings. It's just a breezy evening out there right now.

It's obvious to me that the whole thing has been coming in even later than predicted and less intense as the squall is only around the middle of the country at the moment when it should have been passing the Southeast by now.
