Starting to see issues locally with drifting. The commute tomorrow might be chaos.

Had to zoom in on that thought for a sec that was a terrific looking funnel cloud.....

-3.6 and dew point of -5.9 Why can’t we have some precipitation

Made my night when I seen two young boys making a massive c*ck in the snow in the CoOp car park. I complemented them on their work.

That scene wouldn't be out of place in a Stuart MacBride novel! 😁

Light covering here on the coast.  Radar showing a few more showers to hit in the next couple of hours.  Will be interesting to see how much we get overnight.

Yes the showers seem to be a bit more frequent now and everything is looking nice and white. Hopefully you will get some more soon.

We now have a fair sprinkling, no more, and sat at -1.5C with a bit more of a north-westerly breeze - feels raw out now.

Plenty of folk crossing their fingers to plenty more when they open the curtains in the morning but I fear that locally there will be some disappointment.

We have a security light but it only comes on when triggered by movement. The useless cat won't go out when it's like this. Unlike that hound above somewhere!!

Aye, as above fit some outside/security lights if you don't have any, one of the first things I did when we moved in here. Mine have an override if you switch them off and on within 10 secs, but they are hard to source. Some new ones have a remote control.

None of them  seem to last more than a couple of years though before failing.

Back to the matter in hand, temperature falling gradually, currently -0.5c and DP -1.3C.  In between showers at the moment, but hopefully won't be long before next one arrives.  Looking at the radar, Banchory definitely seems to be on the border of the current stream of showers coming in from the NW.
