These three cells seem to be the focus for the West Midlands now, hopefully they can sustain themselves.

cells have since developed to the north, west, south and east of me....and I'm in the glorious middle of it all but none are close enough for me to see or hear.. Very unlikely at the moment any of them will get closer. I'm currently in Sandbach. Typical.

WeatherArc Not exceptional, considering the pace they developed at. Seriously hoping for another few cells to develop before it.

Metwatch It's desperately trying to get started here,  but despite a rise on temperatures late afternoon,  something's inhibiting those towers rising

Turquoise gloriously sailing through the gap here, just as predicted earlier. Cells popping off east of here.

I’ve now got torrential rain, near constant sheet lightning (practically overhead!) and constant thunder! ⛈️😁👍🏻

Shower developing just to my south but probably going to pass before it produces. Grey cloud everywhere though.

Can see the flashes and hear the thunder to the west too hopefully we will see that line come and sustain itself.
