Uplift west and east of Sheffield!

cells have since developed to the north, west, south and east of me....and I'm in the glorious middle of it all but none are close enough for me to see or hear.. Very unlikely at the moment any of them will get closer. I'm currently in Sandbach. Typical.

I’ve now got torrential rain, near constant sheet lightning (practically overhead!) and constant thunder!

Shower developing just to my south but probably going to pass before it produces. Grey cloud everywhere though.

 Turquoise to rub it in further it looks I’ll be lumbered with moderate rain.

Loud thunder on TV at Old Trafford during the Man Utd, Arsenal game.

Can see the flashes and hear the thunder to the west too hopefully we will see that line come and sustain itself.

 Cheshire Freeze I genuinely have no idea how we have avoided it all so far, genuinely no idea. It's quite remarkable.
