 Cheshire Freeze yea a few heavy showers here today with some hail, but no thunder and we seemed to have missed the worst to the east as you have said

Somehow staying dry here, although had some drizzle about 10 minutes ago from a decaying anvil. 

Looking to the north it seems we are staying dry which is a bonus. You can faintly see the Leicester storm in the bottom right corner.

Just seen lightning to my SW

Storm to my SW is beginning to form a pretty nice base that'll allow for some good photos but the sun is very close to it and means that my photos are over exposed, even if I try and just get the cloud in.

A storm passing the south end of Milton Keynes birthed a weak funnel cloud, lasting for a few minutes just before 5pm. Rotation in the cloud leading up to it was very evident!

 Pursuer of Storms Awesome, I was looking at the same storm around that time and noticed something suspicious!

 Zak M Looks like we were looking at the same thing from different positions, same as last year! It was right by a big curtain of rain too, so looks like a match.

We had a storm earlier today around 2:30pm and had a thunder bolt so loud it  made by ears ring . The power also went off . Just walked to the end of my street and the house as been struck. Reports from neighbours say there is damage to quite a few properties near by.

Nice sunset to finish off, was quite atmospheric with a lot of colour all around. Spitted for a few seconds too, presuming from one of those decaying showers.

Convective Outlook️ 

North Sea showers should move south mostly across the East Anglia area and some into the SE. Risking thundery nature with them with 50+ J/KG of 3CAPE.

Some hail appears possible and a small chance of a tornado or funnel cloud. However, the weak lift and weak energy limits lightning and severe potential.

Mostly gone for slight based off what happened today.
