Monday certainly looks to be a bit entertaining weather wise from the early hours with squalls moving through, ESSL has a risk of T and L during the early hours.  Then followed by wintry showers.

alr1970 yes,  Alex Burkhill mentioned HP becoming more dominant by Thursday, leading to hopefully next weekend being dry 😁.  Next week feeling cooler though.

Dry, pleasant start, overcast by 7.45am.  Temp 5°C.  Not going to last though, rain forecast later.

Last decent prolonged spell was just 4 days long, 3rd to 6th March, where Rostherne recorded 0mm rain for 4 consecutive days.

Off out for a hour or so’s walk, will it stay fine.

Radar says yes, skies says not so sure and as usual the forecast is getting splinters in its backside from sitting on the fence.

I suppose I better take a jacket.

Morning all,

Lovely sunny day here now!

@HafrenLMP1 Yes mate, same here. We got fed up of all the coke heads that started popping up and causing trouble! I love the racing too but the atmosphere started to change.

Just a side note to the weather from me this morning.

I have just embarked on a new business venture in the form of a health & fitness blog, it's only a month old but will be updated regularly. Trying to gain a bit of traction with it now, so If any of you are interested then the link is in my profile. Please pass it on to any friends or family you may feel would be interested.

Thanks 👍

A nice start to the day with plenty of sunshine. Dry at the moment, but showers are forecast.

Sunshine has been limited in recent times, but it has felt springlike in sunny breaks we have had. It's going to feel decidedly chillier than of late tomorrow.

Had a family day in London yesterday. Left Crewe in light rain and returned with a passing shower, but the weather further south was gorgeous for which we were so pleased. Today started bright and quite chilly, but cloud building up now and I suspect we may have a shower or two later.

A dry day with sunny intervals. Mostly hazy sun though. I thought that we might not get any showers here today and it's playing out that way so far.

Who's a really early riser tomorrow morning?   It's  looking very lively with squally hailstone showers for most of the region.

At least we're now at the time of year where it's difficult for it to feel cold as long as the sun's out and it's not too breezy.

Felt warmer in 12C sun today than in 16C cloud yesterday to me.

Now it's evening my face actually feels warm - I should have put sun cream on!

A brrr day forecast tomorrow, don't put those winter woolies to the back of the cupboard just yet. We are forecast to have a brief high of 8 degrees in a very strong NW wind and plenty of heavy showers, little sun. Snow level 400m, freezing level 500m rising to 750m, could be very wintry on the fells.

Rush2019 Yes, same here, gusty winds and heavy rain with hail mixed in, lashing against the window.
