Mother Nature absolutely nailed it! My postcode marker is pretty much under the heaviest 8.20 radar colour! School run time for us is 8.15-8.35!!

Sun’s out now 🙄 !!

On the positive side, I got home before the little squall line came over. Otherwise, not pleasant, as my wet weather gear was still damp from yesterday.

It's completely still here. Mahoosive convective rain drops, but not a breath of wind.  Still, who knows what might happen if a squall line forms🤷‍♀️

Mapantz  Wind warning eh? It's almost still here.

But they do include in their posting "A small chance of disruption from strong winds on Thursday.", and watching their video yesterday it was more akin to Hampshire eastwards.

That’s two days in a row now where it’s literally rained for the most part between dawn & dusk consistently!

And today it’s not even mild!!!

The wind has increased in strength and the temperature has dropped to 5.1°C at: 14:45

Portland Harbour Fort Head

Last Avg: 34.54 mph

Maximum: 48.79 mph

That possibly makes it for a yellow MetO warning.

Along with some other interesting discussions in this forum today(!), I missed this event:

A tornado warning has been issued for Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.

Am I good for a £20 deposit and long terms at 0% credit?
