Been a lovely warm day here today.  Car said 20 deg.  Now dropped to 16.5 with spots of rain.  Wasn't sunny though.  Nice to feel warm outside.

It's now dark, raining and 13c feels quite chilly actually. Still awaiting the first warm feeling day that doesn't require a jumper.

Today wad probably one of the most surreal days in a while. Temp in car on way to whitstable comfortable 19 degrees all the way. Arrived in whitstable to be met by gale force winds wild horses across the sea and a but of crabbing fun lol. Earliest one of the season but a lot of fun. I tell you Kathleen is packing a punch next to the bridge. Very impressive feature this.

I think Storm Kathleen seems to have tracked about 100 miles further east that it was predicted, so the band of rain on that trailing flank that should have gone through the middle of the country caught the south east. Again. It was gusty here, too. The good news is that today is sunny and dry.

Already feeling warmer today than yesterday despite being 2c cooler at this point, mainly because we have pure blue skies and sun.

just gone online ,not for a while and you people have  had some great photos, but I'm saying  in my very very back yard its been an absolute bore fest , little bit of this that but nothing like you have had by going by pictures  ,if you did not like exciting weather then Tonbridge is the place to move to 😞

 Tn9 I can echo that , Winter was a snoozefest, just seemed to be one windy storm after another, great if that's your cup of tea but , not for me. Even the mad thread fizzled out as they realised just how bad Winter 23/24 was! Oh well , looking forward to November already 😁

Decent-ish day so far here, sunny spells in the morning, light winds, the supposed showers/rain dissipated as it approached from the south and instead just clouded over a bit, currently 15c so not too bad.

Felt lovely in the sun for a few hours here in NE Essex. Now cloudy as instability increases.

If you want great winters, move north. If you want hot summer days and thunderstorms, move South.

Did someone actually say "Climate Change agenda"? Blimey, I'm looking forward to hearing the case against Climate Change rather than the one that's supported by over 99% of scientists in that field.

Some lovely cloudscapes from the North Downs towards Abinger Hammer today. Also bluebells and lambs. A short period of heavy rain arrived at 7pm in Surbiton, but it came and went fairly fast.

That insignificant looking little low that followed Kathleen packed quite a punch. Look what happened to this beachside coffee shop in Falmouth from high tides! It's been unexpectedly windy overnight here too; I expect all the beachstones  that had just been pushed off the promenade by the bulldozers will be back again.
