  1. Had a maximum of 30.4C today, which would appear to be fairly accurate as nearby Solent reached 29.6C
  2. The highest temperature today was Solent with 29.6C, closely followed by Castlederg with 29.5C. It reached 30.4C here in Portsmouth too.
  3. Central south did well yesterday too: Hurn 29.7 Middle Wallop 28.4C Farnborough 28.3C Odiham 28.1C Solent 28.1C
  4. BBC Weather tweeted that it was 30C in the shade on centre court & that it was the hottest Wimbledon final since Borg beat Nastase in 1976.
  5. Beautiful today & already warmer than forecast so the 27C the BBC have me down for at the weekend may also go higher 23.5C here at the mo & feeling perfect
  6. I think the start of autumn will be dry with lots of sunshine & warm too, then from the middle of October it will turn more unsettled with rain & frequent gales, but fairly mild tempertures. November will be generally mild apart from the odd colder snap further north & into the winter I think it will continue mild, with any snow reserved for high ground in the north.
  7. If winds are indeed easterly or north easterly then I would expect some of the the highest temperatures to be on this part of the south coast (as was the case in June). So I would think that the Met Office stations at Solent, Southampton & Hurn would record at least 30C & possibly as high as 32C.
  8. Overcast to start but bright with sunny spells since late morning. Temperature 20.0C after a minimum of 15.2C.
  9. Cool & cloudy today though not seen any more than a few spots of rain. Max 17C after a min of 13.5C
  10. Beautiful again today, clear blue sky & sunshine Temperature is 21.0C after a minimum of 14.7C.
  11. Yesterday was a stonking day, warm & sunny with a Max of 24.7C. Today is also stonking, clear blue sky again, but with a southerly wind today feeling a little fresher, still quite warm however, temperature is 21.9C after a minimum of 15.7C
  12. My total for June now stands at 20.3mm. Had a light shower this morning but the sun has been out this afternoon, quite hazy though. Temperature is 21.5C after a minimum of 13.7C.
  13. Had just 2mm of rain here this evening, was a nice warm & sunny day up to that point though with a maximum of 23.5C.
  14. Not all of the south east was coolest. Granted here is the far west of the south east, but June has been cracking here, lots of sunshine (especially during the first 10 days) & pretty decent since with hardly any rain. Also north easterly winds at this time of the year lead to this part of the south coast often recording the highest temperatures, Solent Met Office station has had a high of 25C ( & I have have recorded 26C) Anyway looking good as we go into next week, hopefully we will be getting some nice temperatures into the mid to high 20's.
  15. A beautiful sunny start, a bit of cloud this afternoon, but sunny again now. Max 22.0C Min 11.5C Currently 21.0C
  16. Yes was nice earlier this morning here but then clouded over, the sun is now coming back out though finally Temperature is 18.5C after a minimum of 10.9C.
  17. Not bad, some hazy sunshine this afternoon made temperatures rise to a warmish 19.7C
  18. Dry again here today, mostly overcast but some sunny spells too, especially this morning.Temperature is 17.5C after a minimum of 14.2C.
