    Yep the forecast was wrong, again! Just some light rain here overnight & mostly sunny today Temperature 16.8C after a minimum of 13.0C.

    It wasn't grey all day on Wednesday, the sun came out in the afternoon & it reached 26.3C Sunny today with a temperature of 20.4C after a min of 14.2C

    Yep was expecting heavy rain here yesterday but had a pathetic amount of fine drizzle in the morning which didn't even register in the rain gauge, the rest of the day was bright with sunshine in the afternoon. Was warmer than forecast too with a max of 18.2C, mild last night with a minimum of 14C & today is also warmer than forecast & is 20.5C currently

    Depends where in the UK you are. Here on the south coast it has been fantastic & we even had the warmest temperature of the year so far on Thursday, with 25.0C at Lee-On-Solent, not cool at all down here

    Another stunning summers day on the Hampshire coast Yesterdays maximum 23.3C, overnight minimum 11.5C, currently 21.4C.

    Brilliant morning!! Best thunderstorm here for quite some time, loads of lightning & plenty of big rumbles Nice to see the Met Office give out a warning after the event Seems to have stopped raining here now & is brightening up a bit. Temperature is 13.4C with a DP of 12.9C & humidity is 97% so feels a tad muggy! Overnight minimum was 14.6C.

    Wow! What a morning! Best thunderstorm for a good while here Local newspaper website has reported a house being struck by lightning in Portsmouth earlier. It seems to be trying to brighten up now so I guess the fun is over now.

    Well it has officially been the warmest day of the year so far, with the highest temperature here on the Hampshire coast at Lee-On-Solent Has been my warmest day of the year so far too with a Maximum of 25.7C!! It is still 23.5C now too

    Lovely warm & sunny day again. Forecast high here is 24C & it usually gets a little higher than the forecast, so looking at the warmest day of the year so far Temperature is 23.0C already after a minimum of 11.0C.

    Beautiful warm & sunny day on the Costa Del Solent once again Temperature is 21.5C after a minimum of 10.2C.

    Beautiful sunny day again Once again the wind has switched from a NE'ly to a SE'ly so the temperature has dropped a little from what it was earlier. Temperature is 18.6C after a minimum of 8.5C.

    Another lovely sunny day. Maximum was 20.5C at lunchtime before the wind switched to a south easterly bringing a cooler afternoon.

    Was gorgeous here yesterday, warm & sunny with a Max of 25.4C! (seemed a bit high but Solent Met station reached 23C) Min last night was 12C. Now it is sunny once again & already 17C

    We had sunshine down here too on Monday & the rest of this week, today has been the most overcast day& still only a tiny amount of rain has fallen. We are sheltered from northerly/north westerly winds here & as such the Solent Met station has been one of the warmest in the UK this week & warmest on a couple of days too

    The rain seems to have avoided here again, just a very light shower this morning that barely dampened the ground, sun is now out & the temperature has responded nicely Temperature is 18.2C after a minimum of 12.1C.
