    The band of snow showers is so close to me! but yet it's blue skies out there. it only needs to go a tiny bit further west a very tiny bit... we've had nothing yet!

    Well Nothing here yet in East Kent... it better get it's act together! looking at the Radar images it's all missing us again.

    Looking at the direction them showers are headed I don't feel too optimistic about East Kent getting any... I feel it will be a repeat of the pre christmas event

    Getting excited about the next few days... I'm hoping it hits East Kent, I was away when we had the last lot pretty much and I missed out on going sledding.

    Rained all day here too.... Does it look like East Kent will get any more snow in the near future? I'm so jealous of everyone thats getting good amounts of snow again in other parts of the country!

    Snow in East Kent doesn't seem to be thawing which is a good thing... Hopefully it will get the "Top-Up" tonight

    Margate: ALL buses have been taken off the road now they are saying on the Radio.

    Snowing heavyish in Dover again now with big fluffy flakes. Dover is now almost completely cut off... Jubilee way closed, M20/A20 not worth even trying... A2 don't bother. Trains delayed and the local buses are running a pretty limited service... not even trying the hills and not going to Whitfield as it's blocked off by lorries.then there's the port which is closed due to the situation in Calais and Operation Stack may be implemented.<br>

    Suppose we will still be going, as my uncle payed for it all... so Hopefully it will all go OK. trying to get hold of him on his phone but it's switched off as usual... so there's him sitting there in Folkestone where not quite as much snow has fallen thinking things are fine LOL

    I have to get to Folkestone at some point today.... relying on Public transport that's now all either delayed or stopped... then tomorrow gotta go to London by HS1 up through to Scarborough E. Yorkhsire for a short break before Christmas... Snow tonight I still want though but I am worried things may not happen or be severely delayed..

    just went outside to see how deep it was and clear our front path... may as well say there's just over an inch in Dover

    Hopefully the snow heading our way for tonight will intensify... plus I'm hoping is does fall as snow because theBBC think it's not going to... at least not in East Kent :S

    Snowing here in Dover... road is covered but patchy and the grass is slowly dissapearing, and loking at the radar more is on the way! WOOO!

    eased off in Dover about 15 minutes ago... everything has a covering but you can still see the grass showing through... "B- must try harder!" This snow set to arrive before dawn Sunday could cause travel chaos... I'm supposed to be heading up to Yorkshire by train leaving Folkestone 7am ish Sunday Morning... I want it to snow though for sure!

    Rader does seem to be showing the band of showers drifting slightly south westerly all the time I think... so there's a good jobs worth of white fluffy precipitation on the way for us through the night I hope what Rob Mcelwee said will come true!

    Snow in Dover... quite heavy at times too... Laying but we need quite a bit more for it to cover everything.

    the 20:15 radar pic on http://www.meteox.com/gmapstatic.aspx?zoom=6&type=zoom&x=260&y=232 shows a dark blue area of cloud to the east of east Kent... it kinda looks like it's starting to be squeezed towards us at the same time as being pushed south... Doubt that shower will make it all the way though, it's just gonna continue into france I think

    now I'm less optimistic of any more here in East Kent, and it seems discussion has shifted to the next lot of snow Oh well, Easy come easy go!

    a man just phoned KMFM and says there's snow over the A20 near Dover... it come over so heavy even gritter trucks are getting stuck in it... the A20 does go quite high coming out of Dover so I can only imagine!
