    Still virtually nothing in Dover, we've had the odd shower this afternoon but so light and quick it barely settles. I'm hoping that massive blob in Holland hits East Kent but I hold my doubts :lol:

    Seems it is still diverting around the east Kent area at the moment, or going over our heads...there has been the odd shower but it;'s so windy they pass over too quick. is the wind supposed to quieten down later?

    Snow has eased off in Dover for a while now... how underwhelming so far... I'm hoping the main band after the trough will be better.

    Uh oh... looked out the window and can see the gutter dripping and can hear water cascading off the roof into it... I think it's thawing

    Biting wind here in Dover, especially up towards Whitfield... lots of people sledding but brief gusts of wind were whipping up the snow and making it hard to see.

    been on and off snow here in Dover for a good few hours, but nothing to write home about... it's not heavy or prolonged enough to accumulate.

    Keep hearing pellet like snow hitting the windows in the wind here in Dover... snow has been on and off for a couple of hours already but nothing significant yet.

    I knew the roads were bad, but 5 ft snow drifts... really? That's crazy

    The radar is showing Dover as a perfect target for snow showers this morning, but looking outside there is nothing happening :/ I'm confused.

    Really? Theres literally nothing happening down here in the valley... no new snow or anything.

    There's lots of activity on the radars above Dover but it isn't snowing at all. Nothing is falling from the sky I think our turn is later.

    Surprisingly not too bad, looked out the window and our road appears pretty clear (coombe valley)... I'm not sure about side streets but you should be ok I think. we've had no new snow over night.

    The forecast for Dover seems to have updated for the best! it says constant light snow from 1800 today all the way through to 1500 Sunday the low level cloud, then sunday night into monday morning... more snow... it says light snow but long periods of it. I can see that red warning being issued this morning.

    I thought you got that on wednesday... here in Dover we have around a foot of lying snow in some parts of the town from wednesday night... I'm hoping we will double that over the next 2 days!

    meteogroups main website has a radar for the UK as well I'm not sure if that one is going premium as well but it seems stupid if it doesn't as it would contradict with their raintoday.co.uk site :/ =Dover;1.31254;51.12772"]Meteogroup Radar

    Not sure I understand this, but the map for towns has just been updated on the met office website... it has 2318 just under it... and looking at that it still suggests snow for East Kent from 1800 tomorrow through Sunday. unless it hasn't been fully updated yet?... but it seems to contradict what the BBC thinks if it is correct.

    That big blob seems like it's heading southwards rather than south westwards like the previous ones, but I'm uncertain that will be hitting Dover... but looks like more out in the north sea for some smaller ones here

    it might hit you but I don't think it will go anywhere near Dover!
