    Second that, goes between heavy snow showers and light flurries out of partly broken cloud.

    Snowed early and late today, lots of showers since mid afternoon, slight covering settling on everything. Temperature at 0.3oc at the mo. lots of heavy showers now finally pushing in from the coast. Very bad black ice now. took 30 mins to travel 1 mile. fresh snow ontop of wet roads.

    Here in sheffield we have had a light covering. A few light showers over night but a heavier and prolonged shower around 7 am this morning. Looks like more to come!

    Its been very showery here this morning with ice/sleet in some of the heavier ones. Clouds slowly breaking but still very gloomy.

    Since 6.30 we have had light to moderate rain out of high thin cloud with approx 6 flashes of lightning. The orange of the sunset is visible through the cloud but its still raining. Pretty disappointing really, near miss earlier as a storm passed to the north and caused havock in west yorks. Top temp today was 29oc.

    After a dull/grey morning it became almost clear from mid day with lots of warm sunshine and just patches of high cloud and top temps of 24oc. Clouded over from 5pm and started raining at around 9pm. At 10.30 there was a torrential downpour, very heavy with local flooding. this lasted around 10 mins then just steady rain followed.

    Cloudy and cool start, the cloud broke at 2 pm and became warm at 20oc. Clouded back over around 4.30 with 2 very heavy showers developed over us at around 5pm. nothing on 4.30 radar. Now dry again with partly broken cloud.

    Rained all day, turned light from 1 pm then at 3.30 pm the sky went very dark, had been overcast and misty all day too. The rain then turned very heavy, became worse around 4.30, lots of surface water, burst drains and lots of local flooding. counted around 10 flashes/loud cracks of thunder. Unexpected but exciting.

    IM IN SHEFFIELD BUT FOR SOME REASON ALL MY DETAILS AND POST COUNT HAVE GONE AND BEEN RESET, IVE HAD ABOUT 50 POSTS BUT NOW BACK TO NOTHING. ILL NOW UPDATE MY PROFILE.

    Heavy snow and hail shower here currently, too wet to settle here, still very strong wind too.
