Oi don't start or we'll steal all your snow...
Yup another inch overnight by the look of it hurrah but still need more more more.....
Anyways looking at the radar and it looks to be shower after shower this morning popping in, nothing very heavy but a constant source of smaller showers, well every little helps
BBC Norfolk say heavy snow and drifting later. Will we finally get a dumping today.
-
Good morning. Had a couple of centimetres here recently by the looks of it. More to come?
-
Thanks TEITS for the info. Hope this comes off. I rather trust you analysis than the BBC's Bring it on Tomorrow!
-
Showers seem to have disappeared from the wash area. What gives? Is that the lot for now?
-

Yes, I know the situation is evolving, but last night at midnight, Rob McElwee showed a huge band of snow across central, southern and eastern england, then this morning, just 6 hours later, Carol showed absolutely nothing. Then tonight Rob was back on, showing snow in the extreme east, for maybe norfolk, suffolk, essex and kent. Talk about constantly changing!
They know about as much as us TBH. I guess the best is to wait for updates Tomorrow. Think we will get it though.

can we catch up on sunday ? ,the front from the south seems to stall over central e/anglia , has anybody got any idea about sundays event ? by the way geat idea splitting up the threads
Well according to News 24 just now it will be a SE event mostly. I don't believe it to be be honest. I think we will be hit.

Heavy snow on North Norfolk coast at the mo. I am next I hope. Hello everybody by the way.
-
First post :yahoo:edit: no quite. <_<

Snow on the North Norfolk coast now. <_< Good news about spliting the threads.
-
No there isn't this winter.
Bit of a mistake on NW's part (sorry Paul/Mods )… it's made everything even more frustrating this time as all week I've seen posts like "White OUT on Friday/Saturday/Sunday" then you check their location and it's for Kent or somewhere else over 150 miles away.
Not only that but EA and the SE is a quarter of the size of England where about half the population of the UK live… this thread is into its 30-something part and it's very difficult to find out what people's thoughts are for a locality.
Also there is limited interest in EA as most of the postings are from SE. I have been posting off and on most of the day and only had a few comments from Norfolk.

I take heart from some posts regarding the snow on Sunday. Would be nice to have a load of snow up here.
-
Steady snow in Fakenham now. Might get a few centimetres tonight if we are lucky.
-
Will be a close run thing I think
Yeah, that could be the case, thanks. I hope it does get up here.
-
Just a question. Can we expect the snow on Sunday to get up to North Norfolk, or will that be too far North?
-
I am going to Kent on Sunday. At least I will get to see some snow.
-
Regarding Sunday I'm sure Norfolk will get heavily hit by the precipitation, at least as much so as anywhere else. The main issue is that it could be sleety rather than snowy.
Hi. I thought we would miss out. Could you explain to this novice why it could be sleety and not snowy, thank you in advance.
-
im assuming by the bbc forcasts and posts on here that we in norfolk are going to miss out on this weekend's possible snow event??
exactly the same as last week, beeb and everyone ramp it up for our area and in the last 24-36 hours the forcast completely changes
hope everyone down south enjoys the weekends snow.
Yes I agree, we will miss out on Sunday. We have been unlucky to miss the snow events so not confident for anything in Norfolk over the weekend. Enjoy SE

Good morning all Snowing in North Norfolk and more to come.
-
It depends where you are in Norwich. I'm 6 miles out, and have 10cm, but in the city there's only 4/5cm. Hoping for some more over night.
You have done well. Up in Fakenham it has been quiet.
-
I rest my case, showers passing either above or below Norwich (again). Enjoy what you're getting, hopefully we will see some soon.
I think Norfolk will struggle to get much tonight. Not hopeful for Tomorrow either.
-
Going to call it a night I think Before I go could somebody give me an idea what tomorrow will bring for Norfolk. Thanks.
