  1. Right here is what the NMM suggests. By the way Neil lose the attitude otherwise I won't bother sharing the info. You have to realise NW extra is subscription based and it wouldn't be fair on Paul to be constantly posting these charts.

What the NMM shows for early tomorrow morning is a line of snow showers into Kent, coastal strip of E Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex. Now during the morning into the afternoon a band of snow showers hit NE England moving into Lincs. Within our region the snow showers start to affect inland parts of Essex, Norfolk, Suffolk, Kent, Cambs. During Friday night the snow showers continue and we even see the snow showers around the Wash penetrate far inland to SW parts of our region.

Thank you very much TEITS.

  2. Just posted this in the model thread but thought it worth adding here too:

The 12Z GFS snow risk charts show a lessening of the risk for all of the south as the ppn feature comes in on Sunday. All the 90%+ figures are replaced with 60-70% ones. All those nice purples are replaced by oranges! Is this is a sign of possible marginality due to slightly higher upper temps?

I have got a gut feeling that that horrible word "sleet" is going to start appearing in forecasts for Sunday, especially for areas near the coast.

    Hope I'm wrong.....................

Thats worrying. In North Norfolk so might be ok here.

  3. Well another amazing day of this winter here, heavy snowfall here this morning, which gave a good dumping. Snowing again this evening and absolutely no sign of a credible breakdown in sight - great stuff! :cold:

I do love these 'cold and dry' and 'marginal' situations!! :p

Well done. :cold: Here in the North we had heavy snow this morning but little else since. Fingers crossed tonight.:good:

  4. Is this it now or is this supposed to get worse because if not then once again somewhere in "the firing line" and prime location is going to get nothing, looking at the radar there doesn't seem to be anything other than a few patters here and there

I think we have had the lot for today. Like you I cannot see much coming down now from the North Sea. I hope I am wrong though.:whistling:
