excuse me i think you need to understand that some peoples location is the nearest major city to them, so this doesnt necessarily mean i am close to leeds, im a good 45 mins away and also other places are higher and other places are different so they will get different amounts of snow. just because the snow isnt being so generous to you. im in kirkless, which is the highest part of westyorks -
Lol its that deep you cannot see the paths. just looked at the radar that is a big stream of snow heading this way? watch calendar tonight lol and see all the attention on this snow. switch on national news and hear nothing because if this was the south we wouldn't have heard the last of it. at least we can handle it.

WTH! got a pm from somone saying this:Hi youve put you live in Leeds but are you sure you do or do you have a leeds postcode, becase when youre reporting snow etc no where else in Leeds is reporting it. just because i have leeds on my place where i live doesnt mean i am directly form leeds. i am in kirkless in cleckheaton, hence why it is so snowy and leeds has suffered from the snow anyway. i sense jealousy from 101123 who posted this to me. humbug to you

can anyone give a rough estimate of how long this snowy weather will last. to me with that streamer maybe until around 2 in the morning? by that time the snow will be double we have now and i already have too much because i am very greedy

looking on the meto radar, it seems the snow is lining up in the northwest and coming and coming this way

looks like the snow could last for quite a while. here comes my next blizzard is this happening to anyone else, but the snow is like swirling around like a tornado lol the snow is coming down extrmely fast and its very windy. omg

yes lol, but when they go past the snow starts to drift against the curb which makes it look very deep. i think snow drifts are the best thing as it really makes it look proper wintery wonderland. snow moderate here medium size snow falling

it is indeed. febs snow lasted for 12 days here and most of the snow fell at the start of that snowy period. this cold spell looks like it could deliver snow shower till at least midweek and the very very least. so it should maintain snow cover i think. how heavy will the snow be from mon to tuesday? here we go getting dark again PS isnt it annoying when cars are always going past ruining the roads scenary. grrrr

yes i looked at my kitchen window we had thick covering of snow on the sill and its drifted in the corners. we have drifts of over 1ft in our garden

can someone tell me if west yorkshire could get some more snow later, there is a lot of PPN to the northwest. we have some deep snow now on the ground with plenty of drifts and it would be great if we could have a repeat of what we just had.

yes but there is a huge amount of drifting here because of the wind. still another 18hrs possibly of this

indeed thats where i am. just looked at my garden every think is in a very thick blanket, with almost 1ft of drifts up to the conservatory doors and there is a lot more to come. this is absolutly unbelievable. is it just cleckheaton?
