That happened 3 nights running last week here. Was dull all day then when I went out at about 6-8pm the moon/stars were out.
Oh yea, saw the sun for about 1 minute this morning otherwise dull/misty bleugh.

Encouragement to you Phil : my bro used to smoke 15 a day and he quit successfully 4 months ago. The savings thus far (getting on for £500 to date) have paid for a holiday for him and his fiancee
. He is benefitting health / fitness wise too. -

Have a good time Ian, it's always good to read your thoughts on life in general and particularly about the weather.
If you do have a few drinks on Saturday night drink a pint of water before bed and you should* be fine.
*Should : because this has worked on most occasions for me, however it didn't on Tuesday night :huh: .

It seems he could be sufering depression and is taking it out (in a sort of way) against his remaining family.
Being +ive : great dedication by your lad
and good on you for fighting the cancer. It has really hit me (due to family & friends suffering) in the last year how widespread cancer is and how many forms of it there are.My sister in law to be's Mum has suffered with and recovered from breast cancer in the last 12 months or so and is full of praise for Macmillan

That's great.A close friends baby has been very unwell recently with several bugs, both her mum and dad are suffering with her too. Thankfully she's recovering. I know more now how you'll be feeling Roo, although of course my feelings as a friend are nothing compared to being the baby's parent.

not a good start for your hospital appointments down this way.I don't mind waiting up to 1/2 an hour but any more is bad, unless the specialist (or whatever their title is) has had an emergency to deal with.

Still played netball this rather chilly morning, the average age of our team is probably mid 30's. We were up against some young team who have several county players, so was good to get a good win in against them....... Well done
